A Vibrant Family
Chris and his wife, Sarah, have been married 15 years. They have three children, Will Gunnar, 7, Hayden, 3, and Ella Grace, 2. One of the primary reasons Chris is running for Tulsa City Council is because he wants his kids to have a community worthy of their pride. He wants to ensure they have a safe, prosperous and beautiful place where they can live, work and raise families of their own someday.
A Successful Businessman
Chris Trail operates a successful family business, Ike’s Chili, which is the oldest existing restaurant in Oklahoma. Since 1908, the Trail family has been serving Tulsans from all walks of life. Still today, you can find wealthy businessmen, blue-collar workers, families and military veterans sitting side-by-side at Ike’s. Every day Chris has the opportunity to visit with diverse customers, giving him a clear picture of what Tulsans envision for our city’s future. As our city councilman, his job provides built-in accountability, as citizens will always know where to find him – working hard at Ike’s.
A Love for Tulsa
Chris is a fourth generation Tulsan. He graduated from Berryhill High School and attended Northeastern Oklahoma A & M College. Chris and his wife are members of First Baptist Tulsa, where Sarah works in childrens ministries two days a week. Chris wants what is best for Tulsa – secure families in beautiful neighborhoods, thriving businesses and a bustling downtown. He will always put people first, because he wants to win battles for us, not for partisan political agendas or powerful special interests.
